AWARD NOMINATION REQUEST

Thank you for your interest in the Dark Fire Awards Program. If you have or know of a site that benefits the BDSM community or shows excellence in BDSM, please nominate it by filling out the form below. Princess will personally visit the site and, if it is deemed worthy, present the site with one of the Dark Fire Awards. These awards are not given to just anyone who applies and are NOT reciprocal linking programs! You work hard on your sites, and Princess does not believe that it means anything if ANYBODY can get one. Dark Fire Award Sites must meet certain standards, which are very much relaxed for the Cool Site Award. Please read the below qualifications carefully, and the Cool Site qualifications next to that award. They MUST be:

1. Relevant and/or beneficial to the BDSM or Alternative Lifestyle Community
2. Easy to navigate, well-designed & maintained
3. Sites that present beneficial information or share the story of people's journeys into any alternative lifestyle.
4. Free of advertising pop-ups. Any more than one per page (and NONE that are on purpose) is disqualified.
5. A site that honestly gives the viewer something for free and not singularly focused on selling.
6. Original material. If we find something that is obviously stolen or hot-linked from another site, it's history.
7. Filled with a larger percentage ofinformation than advertising.
8. Non-commercially oriented. Commercial sites are OK, but if a site's primary focus is selling and it does not offer anything but shopping, it will not qualify.

They must NOT be:

1. Pay or AVS sites. Period.
2. Sites with nothing but banners for other sites
3. Filled with X-rated porn (keep it classy! Nudity and sexual situations are OK, as long as it is well presented)
4. Sites that lead me on a wild web chase or shut down my browser.
5. Sites that are nothing but links to other sites.
6. Anti gay or alternative lifestyle, hate sites, or any site that does not promote Safe, Sane and Consensual.
7. Nothing but a page that says "under construction"
8. Pro Domme or commercial sites unless they meet all of the other qualifications and are truly outstanding. Commercial sites must give more than just shopping opportunities!
9. Filled with stolen and/or recycled material that has been around since the dawn of the internet.
10. Free hosting sites that have those annoying popups UNLESS they are of such good quality that the popups are worth wading through and have ONLY the pop-ups that are not under the control of the designer.
11. AOL or Geocities hosted sites that have anything that will most likely be censored and then shut down, as I don't want to have to change all of my links when you get kicked off.

My award winners receive:

1. A link in the Award winners section.
2. A link with a flame (setting it apart from the rest) in one or more appropriate sections in the site.
3. The satisfaction of recognition for a truly outstanding site.

The Award of Excellence and the Beautiful Journey awards below were designed by our wonderful friend, sortasweet, who's inspiring site has qualified for both awards. Please check out Sorta's House Of Splendor as soon as you fill out the form below, as it is truly a work of art.The recently added Cool Site Award is for those sites that may not qualify for the other 2 awards, but still have something really cool to offer.

Dark Fire has 3 categories of awards. One for Excellence in BDSM, one for Beautiful BDSM Journey, and one for Cool Site. You can apply for one, two or all three, but the qualifications are pretty strict for the Excellence or Beautiful Journey Awards. Sites that do not qualify for the Excellence or Beautiful Journey awards may still qualify for the Cool Site Award if they have something that Princess thinks is cool. It could be graphics, photos, comments, or whatever happens to flip her switch the day she visits your site.

To apply for the awards, please fill out this form completely. Your site will be checked as soon as possible, and you will be contacted with the result as soon as I review it.

	Award of Excellence This award is presented to sites that give a LOT of good BDSM information, (especially abuse resources), have shown design excellence, and are generally outstanding sites.
	Beautiful Journey Award This award is given to sites that share personal BDSM Journies. Can be D/s, S/M, gay or other focus, but the winners of this award are the ones who share the journey with the visitors to their site. This one does not require extensive resources, just a lot of heart along with most of the qualifications above.
	Cool Site Award The recently added Cool Site Award is for those sites that may not quite meet the strict criteria of the other two awards, but still has something really cool to offer. It does not necessarily have to be BDSM oriented, but should still be easy to navigate, free of pop-ups and banner farms, and have something to offer besides ads. It can be a personal site, commercial site, pay or AVS site that has verifiable content (you MUST include username and password in the site description-I WILL verify that this is not a rip-off site), a porn site, joke site, whatever! I still don't want to have to change AOL & Geocities links, so if it is an AOL site with any adult content, it will not qualify. Keep in mind, if the nominated site is not adult oriented, the award (if given) is expected to be linked back to Dark Fire.

To apply for one, two or all of these awards, please fill out this form completely. Your site will be checked as soon as possible, and you will be contacted with the result as soon as I can review it. Sometimes it takes minutes, sometimes months.
